A Hive Of Activity

Its been an Hive of activity around my gaff this afternoon, although I can't see anything on the LT website or on ceefax.

About 12noon there were two policewomen and a police officer stood talking outside my front window, they were there for about half an hour, then they moved, a little latter I heard the helicopter buzzing about. Around 4-30 George my carer arrived and asked what was happening, but I didn't know, it seems there were 7 mountain rescue vehicles, 4 police cars, 3 dog vans and an ambulance all parked on Merline drive or our car park then the coroner's van arrived, a stretcher was seen being taken down to the river area, so obviously some poor soul has dean found dead. Anybody else now anything

Only saw the helicopter from Pot House Lane, Jaysay, hovered for ages. Sounds like a sad incident.

Well I've been on the LT website this morning and there's nothing in there, seems strange seeing there was so much hardware knocking about

re: A Hive Of Activity

I heard that they found an 82 year old man in the brook. Can't mention any names in case I am wrong but he is supposed to be a local lad.

He's been named in the press now.

Very sad news.

Re: A Hive Of Activity

Know who he is, he's only lived on Mallard for about 6 months but seemed to be quite active although he had been taken away by ambulance on a few occasions, a very very sad way to go
