Anyone coming haslingden way today..
the road between the roundabout and brook street at hudhey has been shut .. been told a little girl has been knocked down ..
air ambulance landed at winfields .. buses are coming over rising bridge road going to accrington .. don't know about buses going haslingden way .. think theyre using the bypass ...

A collision happened on Blackburn Road near Winfields, Haslingden, today. A teenager was airlifted to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car in Haslingden. The 17-year-old got off a bus outside Winfields and was struck as she crossed Blackburn Road. Police said the youngster, from Blackburn, sustained a serious head injury and was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by helicopter. Fire crews also attended the scene at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, July 30. A collision happened on Blackburn Road near Winfields, Haslingden, today. - Rossendale Free Press
