Been back in moscow now for 5 hours ish....
Been involved in a typical russian chaotic queue - for 2 hours, involving fighting (not me), arguing, pushing in and general chaos.
Found luggage has been completely trashed (no wheels or handles on the case at all) Been interagated by customs for 20 mins, but they let me off cos they didn't want the paperwork and I wouldn't give in to a bribe. Been stuck in a traffic jam for 1 hour. Seen 1 dead body. Seen 3 pile ups. Sent from desk to desk on a wild goose chase whilst trying to book into mediocre hotel, russians havn't a clue about service. Had a couple of pints. Realised why I like accrington/england so much!  And I'd like to finish this with some total truths about Moscow's most used airport. Sheremeteyvo 2. This place is the pits. It is the worst airport in the world. I hate it. Sheremeteyvo 2 (sheremteyvo II) is crap. Shremeteyvo 2 management want shooting. Sheremeteyvo 2 passport control officers need stringing up. French people who jump queues really annoy me. German people who jump queues really annoy me. I HATE SHEREMETEYVO 2. If anyone ever has to fly into moscow then never ever use this airport. If you fly with british airways then you will come into Domodedovo airport which is far far far far better. The extra cost of the flights is well worth it. Grrrrr!!! Rant over. Sorry. |
