A stay at home Mother would not be earning a salary so what good is a tax break for her - if you don't work you don't earn anything over the personal allowance (unless your pension(s) exceed the PA)

You aren't looking closely enough, c'mon is absolutely correct, why do we need women in the workplace? They should be at home waiting hand and foot on their wage earning husbands, nothing in their lives should matter from the moment he leaves home in the morning until he arrives home in the evening.

She should then be ready with a warmed pair of slippers, a freshly poured Martini, a complete roast every night bubbling away in the oven.
Children if he could be bothered to have fathered any, washed changed into their jim jams, and tucked off to bed so he doesn't have to be stressed.
She should then hang on his every word as he tells her repeatedly for four hours how he isn't appreciated at work, only interrupting on rare occasions with the odd tut or tusk of sympathy.
After all, has there ever been a woman anywhere that would be better in any job than a man?
(Ladies, please, the above was deffo tongue in cheek, please don't form a lynch mob outside my house tonight).
