Because in some polling stations there was only 1 box with 2 elections so they had to split the votes and verify em before the count begins. Wont be long now theyre sealing the local election boxes so the count will eventually begin. I'l do my best to keep you informd.

Eh? You're having a laugh! Are you saying that the council balllot papers ended up in the same box as the parliamentary papers? Which thicko organised that?

Havent the foggiest. You'll have to ask the councillors that question. Probably the electoral officer though. Anyway theyve startd counting about 15 mins ago.

Well, I've run out of beer so I'm going to bed. But I suspect that it is now going to be very close in Accy but I think Graham Jones will just do it, albeit with a recount.
