Well if they can do it for Goodwin, how about the rest of the time served convicts in the House of Lords? Jeffery Archer, Baroness Uddin and all the rest of the leeches. And when they have got through that lot then they can make a start on the gongs handed out to useless and incompetent civil servants and puffed up members of the Defence Staff.

The Honours System is discredited, and it is the government who are to blame.

He could have kept the Knighthood and just given the money back. Anyway I hope it has wiped the self satisfied smirk off his daft mug.......but probably not, after all he still has his ill gotten gains.

Don't know about gossip, but they have it of to a tee with other peoples money, Gordon and Alistair thought they were at a wedding every day throwing money about like confetti
