Re: Keep your peanut!

Yes, we should keep the money for India and invest it in our own space programme.

Give the £280 million to lamb-chopped space boffin Colin Pillinger and allow him to make the dream of Beagle 3 a reality.

so here our government is not only giving money away saved by inflicting hardship on the country but also borr0wing money so they can continue giving it away in abundance to other countries.

Even if a country was in need of a hand out our government has no buissness handing over money while things here are in such a mess.Considering how this country lets any scroat come here and bleed teh system i would say we are doing enough for teh world already without sending even more money abroad

The whole concept defies logic, I wouldnt know where to start to sort it out, but you have to look after your own first. You dont cut wages, pensions, and dont up the pension age, for a start.

well what this government and especially the previous government had a habbit of doing was borr0wing money in order to give it to other countries.Iv used this anology before but basically what they are doing is a much larger scale of you going to your bank, taking out a huge bank loan and putting it in a beggars cup on your way home while your family goes without

if our government is borrowing money from other countries why the hell are they giving it away.We are paying interest on the money borrowed but getting nothing back from what we give away.

there may be a bigger picture im not seeing but to me borrowing to give isnt a viable and substainable practice ?
