Boring Margaret .. not at all. Only watch Corrie, but is sooo funny, even when they have a tragic story!

The actors they bring in are usually crap at first, but do seem to improve. Take this new lass Lauren ? (Violet's sister) The Churchill dog has nothing on her .. must have bin 'Producers' Couch' /nepotism or summat .. shame when so many talented young people could have done this character so much better ! Makes my blood boil. Especially the money they get paid .. can't see her lasting much longer though.

Can't comment on Emmerdale or Eastenders .. don't watch, hate the accent...

I totally disagree. Coronation Street especially, should be ranked alongside comic opera, and should be classed as high art.

If he was alive today Dickens, the first real serialist, would be a writer on Corrie.

Here you are Uncle Albert, have a pint of Newton and Ridley's finest, and get back in the snug with Ena, Minnie, and Martha.
