Re: Postmen Frightened Of The Rain

My Postman gives me a tip every Christmas for not bothering him all year.

Suppose that could be the answer phil, and I get neighbours post through my box at least once a week, the thing is I've usually opened it before you realise its not yours, you expect the right letters put through right letterbox

Re: Postmen Frightened Of The Rain

As far as I know there is no set time when your mail should be delivered. I seem to remember a few years ago if you wanted your post delivered before a specific time (think it was 10-00am) you could pay for the privilige. not sure if this was just for businesses or general mail, or even if it still applies. Just for the record I think the posties do a brilliant job.

Wrong Frank I've had a letter this morning from a very bedraggled post lady who didn't look to pleased with the British Weather

Re: Postmen Frightened Of The Rain

I thought that I read in one article that it was only one building, presumably split into a number of offices and the problem was that the steps were covered in algae/moss, which when wet become quite dangerous.
