If you like 'bud' or bottled lagers there are plenty of excellent alternatives. you dont have to drink pale ale's or bitters to like good beer - there are plenty of good imported bottled lagers, what some would call the real 'bud' - Budweiser Budvar being just one of them. If you're ever in Great Harwood, pop into The Royal and have a nosey at what they've got in the fridge - there are loads and loads of really good bottled lagers that will make you wonder why you were every happy to put up with 'bud' - dont be a sheep and believe what the adverts tell you

I think "bud" was once voted the worse lager in the World.

Not only that but I think they were washing their feet in it at the time.

Was actually going to say that benipete, in fact if I have to drink lager I only drink Stella, but I'd still prefer a pint of Thwaites Mild these days

Re: Real Ale

Are there any non alcoholic beers brewed as real ale. but there again, they would'nt be classed as real ale. Coopers do one here not a bad drop at that. What are the ones that are brewed in the UK ?.
