Sudoku

Did anyone watch Sky 1's Sudoku challenge just now?

I'm an addict. I've been doing it for about five weeks.

Re: Sudoku

Didn't watch it because I've just finished yet more "sorting out". (Eventually we'll be tidy and straight here but it seems to be taking forever.) I didn't know there was such a program. It's one of those things I find fascinating and challenging to do but can't imagine watching someone else do it as a form of entertainment.

Re: Sudoku

No, it was a little bit like watching paint dry. Especially after I'd filled all my square in and they were still dragging it out. There was chance to win £9,000 though so I decided to stick with it.

Re: Sudoku

That sounds like good enough incentive.

Hmm I have heard of this before, though haven't the faintest idea how you do it.

Re: Sudoku

You have a grid of 9 squares by 9 squares and each number 1-9 has got to appear once in every line down and across. Also the main grid is divided into 9 smaller grids of 3 squares by 3 squares and each number 1-9 has got to appear only once in each of them. Some numbers are already filled in for you and it all depends how many are filled in as to how hard the puzzle is. Try it and you'll get addicted.

Re: Sudoku

It would have to be a timed game - fastest one gets the highest score. I'd have a go!

Re: Sudoku

I hate it when you think you've almost done it and then see the same number twice in one row!
