If people are that worried about their scran then they had better grow and rear their own. At least it will taste better and with no "addatives preservitives E numbers etc."

Nope! I’ll still hold the knife in my right hand and the fork in my left. The soup/cereal/pudding spoon in my right hand. And of course the food will be placed in my mouth. You can bet your sweet life that I will still manage to drip something down my front no matter how careful I am but only ever when I have a clean shirt on. The hand isn’t quite as steady as it used to be.

I will continue to buy the best quality that I can afford even if it means buying less. Bread and butter is a good filler.

I would sooner buy half a pound of fillet steak that is a dream to eat rather than a pound of shoe leather passing itself off as steak.

A little of something that is satisfying and tasty is better than a gut full of garbage. As I said bread and butter fills the gap.

Re: The Big Food Fight

Nope, most of what I eat at uni is local produce anyway unless I buy something premade from a cafe/takeaway/etc and then I cant check.

I agree with JB too, i'd rather buy the good quality food than cheap stuff. Luckily my local butcher has good quality meat at reasonable prices. I can't guarantee its ALL free range but I think its important to support local produce.
