The Broadway
Does anyone know whats happening with the Broadway Pub? I walked past last night & there were people sat in it and it looked like it had been done up but the doors were shut. Is it re-opening?

i'm sure there was a for sale sign on it last week, i know they have been doing a lot of work on it

I know, well I walk past it every day so I have a look in, I thought they were changing it into flats but it looks like they have decorated it and are keeping it as a pub!

well i know whats happening because i DJ for a sister pub, The broadway was bought by a company called amber taverns which until earlier this year had a 50% share in the business of caines which have recently gone bust under the last orders name, amber taverns are now no way associated with caines and are buying up some of the property last orders own now its in liquidation, the broadway was bought before this happened and amber inns will not be buying the one on blackburn road as they have the broadway now and it would not be feasble to won 2 in the same town, however it may buy the one in ossy who knows!! So the broadway will still be called the broadway but will be run by amber inns which is a kind of last orders or was should i say. It opens tomorrow night to the public tonight is V.I.P night. It will be selling fosters at #1.75 a pint and its cask ales start at 1.30p.
