Thank you Chav. That nearly makes you a man in my book.

I would reciprocate, but I wouldn't demean myself, plus I have given out too much karma today anyway.

It is always better to give than to receive.

I gave some to A-b for being regal, you are merely a lady-in-waiting, or is it waiting for a lady?

Yes, very skilful Sir, pity it had to happen in the first place..... Does everyone still buy dates, figs and crystallised fruits? I use to love all those little tins we use to get with toffees or biscuits in. Having said that we got little else…..

I only buy dates because the little fork you get in with them makes an attractive spear, if your doll wants to be a mermaid, even with his 'eagle eyes.'

When my daughter is round then it might be a turkey breast roast and a few of the trimmings but not going mad for 2 its a waist of money.

Re: What Do You Spend ££££ On Food At Xmas.

It is nice to celebrate this time with our loved ones, and most of us will enjoy nice food. We do have a tendency to go a bit OTT though. Most shops are only closed for a day or two, but people hit the shops, and buy enough food as if rationing was going to be reintroduced.

I wonder how much food we waste over Christmas, while in other parts of our planet people will have empty bellies?

Re: What Do You Spend ££££ On Food At Xmas.

Mince pies will shortly be made & put in the freezer, along with the veg which will no doubt shoot up in price about three weeks before xmas. Then if I decide to buy a small turkey It wont cost me the earth for all the trimmings & neither will I have to spend time preparing it all, giving me more time to play with all my little'uns new toys & games.

Chrissie the turkey drums are fine but the crowns are better
