Young dog just found, hollins lane area of accrington
Hi, a gentleman on Hollins Lane (nr Park Pub) has just found a young, boxer type dog, cowering in a doorway on his road.
Its mainly white, with black markings (patch around eye). He has been to Police, but Dog Warden not on duty, so he is keeping for tonight. Anyone know of anyone who may have lost their dog? |

jesus there a clumbsy lot around that area it was only a few days ago somone posted there was a cat and a dog found around there as well

Update on "found" doggie. Another guy on Hollins Lane has now said he earlier saw two guys walking down the lane, shouting "obsenities" to what he thought was a person, now he believes it could have been to the dog, - in other words, it MAY be an abandoned dog! Not certain of course, but could be. Has now been taken to Police Station as the gentleman who has found the dog cannot keep in his home tonight (because of his own dog). T'was another policeman on duty who said they had a kennel at the station which they could use for tonight.
