I have never admitted this before in public but............. I was barred from the Funnies. It was so not my fault.:( There was a lady who used to frequent the place and I use the term lady loosley. She was a bit of a ****** and used to try and cop off with other women. She fondled my bum one night in the toilets so I thumped her. As she was a regular and knew all the staff, they barred me instead (I never lived it down)
I used to work behind the bar in the Cock and Bull and Corners. I did the odd friday night when I was only 15/16. Billy Mac used to look after me and keep the weirdos away. Loved that pub.:D

The Blockade was one of the best pubs in Accy. Best juke box for miles. The back room ("Hell's Kitchen") always had a strange aroma. People tell me it was due to the smoking of herbal cigarettes.
