Aye, it was Mez and Mick that were the first to meet me and it wasn't even a proper meet date! Please tell me it isn't cause I was planning to make the whole May Meet festivities?;)

Now, will there be a May Meet or shall I hold off even longer making my travel plans?

Seriously Mez, I'm sure your leadership and love for making the Meets work will be sorely missed. I do trust all is well with you?

MORNING ALL ....... im not doing very well at the minute but will get there in the end & now have other commitmentsto deal with & need to give my all too ...........thanks for your concerns & wishes much appreciated........i will come to some of meets if i can so you will still see me around. brian you just get your loverly bum over here will deffinitley be at that meet ...whomever arranges it . ..........mez

Well i can help whoever takes it on but you need transport to get round to the places and i dont have a car .
Or i will do it if someone will run me round to the pubs to check them out.

The next meet should be on the 28/04/07 the last sat of the month
so this needs sorting soon folks

i wont be going to anymore meets, not after the bitching that went on at the last one, certain people need to be careful what they say and who they say it to they're likely to get a slap for it

I can't remember if we were at the last meet or the one before it but if there was any trouble at the one we went to it must have been after we left because I don't remember any, The meets are usually friendly and fun, even amongst people who disagree with each other quite vociferously online. :(

I don't drive so I'd be no use offering to help Mick - I don't drink either so couldn't do any sampling. :D

The reason we go round Willow is to see if the pub is big enough ,they dont mind having us there,and they have nothing else booked for the night, and i do the sampling:D as whoever is with me will be driving

Okay then, what's the chance that everyone can eat, drink and be merry together for at least the May MEET? I mean, I guess I could make house calls but that could take a couple extra days:o. So . . . how will that all work. What's the chance chav would show up and that'd be fine or not?

I don't know if we would be able to make it. All depends on when Busman is working but no matter what I may have disagreed with anyone about on the forum it doesn't carry over to a meet as far as I'm concerned. I would be happy to see anyone and everyone. :)
