Darby mentioned Islay malts. My favourite tipple and, in my opinion, the best of which is Laphroaig.
A dram of Glenmorangie goes down well as does a tot of Tamnavulin. Moorhouse's Pendle Witch is a good pint or when it's hot a pint of Stella or Kronenbourg 1664 makes a good job of slaking a thirst.

i in my youth never had white lightning or strongbow
