Placenta anyone??

I'll eat the placenta, says Cruise
Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is planning to eat his new baby's placenta.
It is the latest in a series of unusual revelations by the 43-year-old Mission Impossible star about the child he is expecting with fiancee Katie Holmes.
He told GQ magazine: "I'm gonna eat the placenta. I thought that would be good. Very nutritious. I'm gonna eat the cord and the placenta right there.
Cruise has also claimed he knew actress Holmes, 27, was pregnant, even before she told him.

A follower of Scientology, he has defended the religion's belief that women should give birth in silence.

"It's really about respecting the woman.
"It's not about her not screaming," he has told GQ.
Cruise recently also said he believes he can cure drug addicts.
The actor plans to marry Holmes in the summer.
He said earlier this month that their baby was due "any day now

Yes, always makes me laugh when men suggest anything to do with childbirth - until you have a uterus you can't have an opinion - is my view.

Having said that, I wanted to see the placenta - I was also quite keen on the idea of eating it but it was damaged so they wouldn't let me (personally I think they dropped it deliberately to stop me asking for it - haha)!

Yeah it makes me laugh when you hear men saying " why don't you try it with no pain relief this time DARLING".........

Yeah why don't you try shoving a football where the sun don't shine, while singing "I'm forever blowing bubbles"....and no pain relief DARLING!!!:D

Hello, Gayles got her dungarees on, I'll have you know there are some men sensitive to the thought of childbirth without having a uterus!
I'm not one of them! (I'm not bitter but I do think you deserve all the pain you get, you never stop telling us about it!).
I suffered more than she did with afterbirth, (always lumbered with the kids while she went out!).

That's fair - the nine months of hell that we go through is just about equal in pain level to the following 18 years!
