:D Nothing against Kate Moss - just the whole name dropping thing being how someone evaluates their own worth. It says little for her self esteem.

It is a bit ironic....Jade is a Media made phenomenon....the media caused her to be famous, and now they are in the process of destroying her.....well, I think it is ironic.....or did I mean moronic?

My dear Mrs Pilkington, I am inclined to agree. If feel we have reached the bottom of the barrel scarped it clean and we are hopefully about to ascend and remerge into a world where the likes of Jade, Jake and her mother are no longer made celebrities, the same goes for the failed pop stars and idiots with tits who shag footballers.

A celebrity is someone who through hard work and unselfish deeds rises to the forefront of the public eye and wins our admiration. Let’s get back to a common sense Britain and put these slappers too work.

Is it racist? No, I don’t think so at this stage, it is however bulling and these people deserve to be chastised and punished by the British Public.

The words 'mountain' and 'molehill' come to mind. Alas with celebrity status goes responsibility and consequences for ones actions. Jade was flung into the limelight from obscurity and I don't think it ever really sunk in.

It's the British tabloid media visualised, Margaret.
They bring you to the top as long as you have something to offer (the cheeky cockney gal who meant well) and knock you down to the ground as soon as you say or do something controversial.
As Doug rightly highlighted, in the past the term 'celebrity' was used to brand people with great talent to convey a message to the public. It's pretty meaningless now.
Which perhaps may be a good thing.

I hope it is Jade that gets evicted tonight, I think the fact that ch4 have pulled the audience will hit her quite hard, she thrives on publicity and the adoration of the public, cant wait to see her face when questioned.
