Any names you really dislike?

I know when choosing names for the kids it drove me mad! The one thing I always made sure of, was that the childs initials weren't going to be something dodgy ;) :D

Any friends given their child a name that made you have to stifle a giggle?

One of my friends called their baby Siobhan Simone .... nice names separately but together? ...... poor child :rolleyes:

I used to hate my name when i was younger which is Adrienne, other kids used to say it was a boys name and i hated it, but as iv got older, i like having a different name to most.

It's ok for boys, but with girls you might have to change your name if you marry.

We had a cleaner in London called Maud Lynne.:D

I really like Adrienne for a girl .... like in the the Rocky film :)

I think most people hate their own names.

I hate my sons name being shortened to Tommy or Tom, I christened him Thomas and that is what he shall be called. I don't half get on my high horse about it lol!

When I first moved to London I worked at Simpson's department store on Piccadilly. I had to serve a rather swishy little American man wearing a fur coat, who made Liberace look butch. I sold him his pink cashmere sweater, and took his credit card to charge.

How I kept my face straight, and didn't leave a damp patch on the carpet I don't know, as I got Gary Gay to sign for his purchase.:D
