How life changes :rolleyes::D

How are you pension and savings doing in the current climate?

I assume you still draw a pension in the UK. If so you are as bad as the eastern europeans that earn money here and send it back home to be spent. This has a negative effect on the country. My wages are spent in England to help with the economy.

Neil I can see where your coming from but in all fairness If royboy has worked all his life and payed into our system why shouldnt he be reaping something back and if his choice is to spend it in spain so be it.
IMO hes far from being like the eastern europeans who are here and taking what is rightfully ours, ie child benefit for children that do not live in this country.
My husband has a military pension and will eventually be entitled to an old age pension and if he dicides to go abroad to live and spend it over there then thats fine by me so longs as im with him;);):D

I agree with both Neil and Cherokee. Surely though if you decide to sling your hook and clear off abroad, financed by this country, what goes on here in your absence has sod all to do with you.

I have four immediate family members in the UK, adult and taxpaying.
I have grandchildren in the UK and have fears for their future.
My business interest in the UK is ongoing and liable to tax.
Would you like to know what I had for breakfast? :confused::rolleyes:

I know you did, but some things I can't remember all that well.

Example, I attended my sisters funeral today, she worked in the Fire Brigade, over 30 members both serving and ex members of the brigade turned up, and I could only remember the names of a few.

Jambutty is ok, he's just posted on another forum

But for those that have emigrated...................do you know that if they recieved the winter fuel benefit of being a pensioner before they emigrated then they are still entitled to it once they have emgrated. And our nice government change it into the sterling that is required as well. Apparently, once it is given it cannot be taken away!!!
