I didn't know you could use a 'nom de plume' when I joined so I put my own name as my username.

Complete opposite - when I joined I thought you had to use a "handle", so I chose the name of my favourite singer. Quite happy with it, although it still feels a bit strange to walk across the Clayton End to be greeted with "'ow do, Wynonie" by various people.

Ya same here Wyn, I once thought about changing it to my own, but seeing vertually every body knows my name anyway, I though why bother

The 555 timer IC is an integrated circuit (chip) used in a variety of timer, pulse generation, and oscillator applications. The 555 can be used to provide time delays, as an oscillator, and as a flip-flop element. Derivatives provide up to four timing circuits in one package.

Haha maybe ;)

[QUOTE=MargaretR;1016245]I have looked into numerology a little bit and 777 is a good sign.

Me too. I don't know a lot and I am a bit cynical about things but I do think it means something and personal experiences back that up :)

It kinda stuck because I was small with a squeaky laugh, and I like rodents a lot. The 0707 bit comes from my birthday, I was born on the 7th of July (7th month) in ward 7 at 7 am :)

I was born on the 10th of the 10th at 10 o'clock at night! Don't know if there was a ward 10 in Roughlea though I could ask my mum -maybe she was in bed number 10!:D

My husband and both brothers and his sister were all born on the 9th of the month...

Perhaps there's something in this numerology business after all...;)

Maybe!I am cynical but I'm not naive enough to think I know everything is scientific and logical. There may well be some connection with ourselves and numbers we're defined by. :) those are pretty fascinating stats!

I have changed my avatar.

Incidentally, I found out today that number 5 is pronounced 'ha' in swedish and taiwanese - so 555 in text speak is 'ha ha ha'

Just as well we were born with ten fingers -at least we've got a decimal system of numbers -imagine if it was just binary -how complex life would be.

0101 0101 0101 -Ha Ha Ha!:D

Not a mathematician but the random distribution of times and dates means that there will be as many people born on the 6th of the 7th at eight o'clock as any other possible combination you can think of. It's our brain that connects and tries to make random events logical -that's the science of numbers.
