vorlon24 was only asking a question and I believe a sincere question at that.
But the sad fact is, that threads started about mods usually end up all going the same way by a minority of members whom for what ever reason, and there are plenty harbour some sort of gripe towards the mods and use these threads as vehicles to vent there frustrations and slag off the mods.
This is why it was made a banning offence to start threads about mods.

Surely it would be more efficient to ban the 'minority of users...' than people who want to discuss something in a sensible civilised manner? Otherwise it turns this forum into a dictatorship.

Mods do a good job( I am a mod on other boards) but I don't see myself as a dictator. If someone has an opinion as long as it is based on fact then I am happy for that opinion to live and breathe. If they break other rules around decency/language/behaviour then I will offer a chance to apologise. If they don't then they are shown the door.

Certainly, but what would happen if the minority was 49% of accyweb members, it isn’t but you never know. We would have to ban half of Accyweb.
To be honest thou, there are only the odd occasions when we may have to ban someone for what ever reason. But when we do, just look what happen.

I agree. So do we, but some poelpe arn',t happy with that, they will come along and start telling you that you are behaving like a dictators or something, don't they? Hehe that’s what we get and it goes on and on.
This is another reason why we have banned threads about mods. Because everyone else seems to think their way of moderating would be much better, rather than yours. Then they start trying to tell you what they think you should be doing.
At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter who’s doing the moderating. People will still, given the chance have a dig at you because you’re probably not doing it the way that they think you should and there really isn’t any point in arguing the toss. We welcome any new suggestions/ feedback that members have to offer (we have a section for this) but when members start dictating, sorry I hate that word (dictating) but others chuck it around freely, I mean telling us what to do, then we get know where.
