Sorry to bring an old thread up but saves on a new one:D

Just its worth reminding ladies to do a periodic measurement check, i hadnt realised i'd been crushing my rib cage under the boobies till recent when experiencing bad pains there altho not bruised but feels like it, then discovered the possible cause of incorrectly fitted bras, what fitted fine a few months or years ago now isnt the case, especially if u lose or put on a bit of weight & changes as u get older. What looks right might not be what is right, wishful thinking or not but eventually catches up with u :D

Learnt mine the hard way as per usual as i was a way off mine tho a good excuse for shopping LOL!

My mum was very round shouldered and had to tie a piece of tape between the back of the straps to hold them on her shoulders.:)

Yeh, Accymel, know what you mean about body change ... was 34B for years and years, now find 34D ! .. when did that happen ? Still a 10 sometimes 8 jackets on the shoulders, but fastenings can pull a little .. blouses gaping, etc.

The measuring services are reasonable good, but have learnt always best to try them on before buying .. pain in the backside, but well worth it.

I love all the colours that are available now and the way it doesn't matter anymore if the straps show under a strappy dress/top; hate those clear plastic straps.

Not always u can try them on before u buy but yeh see what u mean as even tho im right due to variation in manufacturers some fit better than others in same size bain of all womens clothing so i may have to go one up again depending on style/shape/make.

Don't forget girls it's a specialised job. As ever on Accyweb there is always somebody who can help and being fully certified I'm willing to provide my measuring service free of charge ;)

True .. couple of year ago, set out on a bosom campaign to get better bras .. was measured, but on trying loads and loads, (proof in the pudding so to speak) finished up with some C, some D, and one actually E ! says on the label so must be true ..:D .. best fitting bra ever though and most costly :(
To the eye the cups all look the same size to me.

Like us women know however, manufactures don't appear to work from the same tape measure, do they ?
