A Boston woman has vowed to never again eat Chinese food after finding a severed mouse head in her "house special" takeaway.

Delphine Hamilton, of Charlestown, vomited after finding the head. She told the Boston Herald: "It was disgusting.

"It had two little black eyes and a little narrow snout. It was bone. It had no hair on it or nothing".

Unsurprisingly, government health inspectors immediately closed down the restaurant.

Reports of similar findings seem to have escalated in recent times. Only last week, British tabloids reported that a boy found a corn snake in his box of Golden Puffs.

Last week in North Carolina, a man found a severed finger in his tub of custard. He put it in his mouth assuming it was "a piece of candy" but soon spat it out.

Of course, there was the lady who found a human finger in her chili at Wendy's. Turned out that she put the finger in the dish, in the hope of making money from a lawsuit. She's been arrested. Gives a whole new meaning to the term "finger food."
