Job Vacancy's - Oak Lea Tavern
The Oak Lea Tavern on Whalley Rd, Accrington has the following vacancy's:


Bar Staff - jobcentre ref ACC/37666

Cleaner - jobcentre ref ACC/37667

Kitchen Operatives - jobcentre ref ACC/37668

Is this the Oak Lea opposite the Grey Horse pub?

Are you going to be involved with the running of this place when it re-opens, after the building work is complete?

Yeah, that's the one. My girlfriend & myself are the new managers.

We take over on 1st Dec, & we are open for business on the 15th Dec.

Is it gonna be a bit like the Wembley Stadium situation, where events have to be cancelled and moved elsewhere, due to incomplete building work?

The building work is actually a couple of days ahead of schedule. I haven't been up there this weekend because i've been in Skipton. But hopefully, the new conservatory should now be on. I'm trying my best to sort through all exsisting booking & to confirm them. It's not easy, i've had 3 hours to myself since Friday, & that's when i slept.

yep good luck, i'm sure you'll make it a great place. It did use to be ok, but towards the end they just gave up

Just promise me one thing.. please dont invite that Elvis singer again. The one with the REALLY tight trousers and his pet snake
