The weather today was terrible so it was a moist moment around Haworth Park.

I had a short walk on the cut bank at Todmorden. Its a few yards walk from Lidl car park so it suited me.
A man and lady had a ball on a string and the dog couldnt wait to dive in and swim for it time and time again. They also pointed out some duck eggs undisturbed.

I don't know how long they had been there, it was only last saturday 31st October. Surprisingly they were all intact.

You know that you have too many peanuts when squirrels climb up your leg to take them out of your pocket:

My beloved Aunty Sheila is in hospital now in palliative care. She's reached a good age at nearly 90, but a good lady doesn't deserve an ending like this. My heart is broken, but I'm holding on to our many shared memories. Every day I make the trek to Oakville, and park my car on nearby streets to avoid the exorbitant parking costs. The upside is the beauty that I see on my walks. I will post more from my visits in the coming days. Today: the leaves are piled high for the workers to pick up: almost like snow! A Japenese maple glowed briefly in the late day sun. Apologies if the images don't come to you as I intend, my iPad is a fickle beast :)

Not a lot can be said at such a sad time, other than you are in our thoughts.

It has been too wet to go out today.....Yesterday my day was taken up with medical appointments for ma....but, I did get a chance to do something creative.
See what you think of these.
1-4 Christmas cards
5) the paper isn't creased it is textured
6-10....all the same stamp, but hand coloured in different colour combinations.
In truth I am not sure what i am going to do with these.....they might find their way onto cards, but they might be framed and given as pictures.
I LIKE them......yes I know that small things...etc :D
All that colouring took my mind off fireworks.

lovely cards, so nicely crafted :)
I too like the wee dollies - they suit being hand coloured.

Thank you Carolyn.
I like them, but then I am a bit biased.
I treated myself to some special craft pens, this was my first attempts at using them.
I am quite proud of my efforts.
