Accrington Web - Today in pictures

Although I still have a lot of pictures to sort through who can resist the snow and the chance to get frozen knees and an extremely cold gusset. So off we went to Dean Clough Reservoir, it was a joy to be out.

Thank,I have resisted the urge to snap randomly for about a month now, and have made headway into my backlog, but the sight of snow was too good an opportunity to miss, especially as last year there was very little snow to snap, and looking out of the window it has all but gone now.

A walk down to the River Calder, with no snow or frost the ground is a bit soft underfoot, and the water is a bit wetter than normal as well.

I waited till that had gone and went out in the January sunshine instead :D went up to mitchells reservoir on black moss .. on the border .. :D

If you look at the perspective from a couple of the snaps its impossible not to have a moist gusset

I hadn't been up for a while so thought it was time to see if it was still as steep, I think it is a bit more inclined than it was the last time I visited.
