Re: Today in pictures
Beautiful shots there....doesn't everything look green and spring like?
It seems the tres have come into leaf all of a sudden. Number two is a very atmospheric shot. |
Re: Today in pictures
Thanks Margaret, I wasn't sure on image two as that cloud really dominates the shot and almost didn't post it.

Re: Today in pictures
It would have been a shame if you hadn't.
It is a picture that shows Ma Nature in a bit of a sulk....and I like it. |

Some from today, it was fairly grim today in Accrington, but around 16:30pm decided I would go out to the seaside at Morecambe and Heysham as the skies looked a lot brighter out that way.
The first two are of Morecambe Bay taken at Morecambe, the third is at Heysham... |

Love No’s 5 & 10.
But someone ought to help the captain of that cruise ship (Costa Mediterranea?) with his navigation skills. |

A bit of artistic licence witht some photographs I took at Inveraray Courthouse and jail.
The lady in the prison cell in picture No 7 was a fantastic actor and played a good part. |

I made a special effort today to go into Accrington to see the vintage bus festival on the Town Square. Say no more, apart from the oil left a mess for someone to clean up.

Yesterday...the lad and me took off for the day.
Moving people were running a trip to Liverpool...so I booked for both of us. We had an absolutely BRILLIANT day...there was only one thing wrong with it...it came to an end far too soon(though that wasn't the opinion of my feet. I am going to blog about our day...but in the meantime here are a few pics of the day. 1) Love locks...these are place by couples, they lock them onto the barrier and throw the key into the Mersey...aah, sweet! 2) A statue of a workhorse. 3) the Clown - SuperLambanana...a japanese take on GM foods(though this was designed by a liverpool schoolchild, 4) Well four has to be the Fab four.....my era, my teen dream and so lifelike you expect them to sing(though a bit larger than life...but then THAT fits too) 5) the fab four(I know you can onl see three) with the Liver building as a backdrop. 6,7,8) the heads of the fab four. 9) Cilla...outside the Cavern clb in Matthew St 10)George Harrison. |
Re: Today in pictures
Nice one Margaret.. I'm glad you enjoyed your day out and thanks for the photos. We have been with moving people a few times and always enjoy their choice of venue. That was one we missed out on.
