I would still ring trading standards before u send it off cos they could point out some arguement to your complaint that u may not know of. If u want me to read proof it let us know:)

Well i dont think i should ring them now for all i know it could be a ploy for everyone who sends their camera in we can charge £xxx they will make a killing how do we know if it qualifys for the free repair if you dont send it in? and if you do send it in and it wont qualify and you will get stung. (soo wrong).

I'll keep you posted on what happens with this Mummiboo. I've sent a complaint letter off to Sony and have been in touch with Trading Standards lot, they said to give them 3 week to reply before they can take it up with them but they've agreed they are bang out of order ...... so fingers crossed ;)

can only wish you well tinks if theres 1 thing i cannot stand its dirty robbing rip-off bast***s, might be worth checkin out watchdog see if you can get sony some real publicity.good luck.

Yes willow a letters gone to them and trading standards said I have to allow them 3 weeks to reply.

Why should I tell them to keep it though Cherokee? It belongs to me. In my opinion them keeping my camera borders on theft.

but isnt that some sort of robbery them repairing it without permissin and wanting money off you ..
