Corned beef hash.

Do any of you make corned beef hash?
If so how do you make it?I boil the spuds then when they are nearly done i put the corned beef in and just boil for a bit more then drain it all and maybe attack it with a fork before serving, whereas i remember my nan used to make it like a thick pancake with crispy edges.I want to make it exactly how she did (but dont talk to her any more),do you just finish it off in a frying pan?

I do the same but add a couple of oxo cubes at the same time as the corned beef before I mush the spuds a bit :)

after you've cooked it put it in a frying pan and stick it under the grill for a while, you'll get a nice crispness to it then (dont put any oil in the pan though)
