Hoover For My Stairs

I am after a little hoover for doing the stairs with. Am beggining to find balancing my hoover whilst trying to clean is getting hard work (my age is catching up to me). Was just wondering if anybody has one or has any hints on best type to buy. Any help will be appreciated thanks

Bernie get a dyson off the market for £20 like i did, i know they are big but the hose on them reaches all the way up the stairs without you having to carry the whole hoover, bloke on accy market on Thursdays sells them, mine has been a godsend for doing the stairs

Is that the one you bought Emzy? Looks ok but does it do the job right?

Dyson work ok but the build quality is pants. They are made out of the nastiest plastic ever. Bits break off them for fun.

I am fed up have having to repair ours. It would have cost a fortune if I had to have it repaired by someone else.

What about finding a cheap cylinder vac with a long hose?

I heard that I bought a re-conditoned hoover from the shop on Whalley Road and the guy in there said he was forever mending Dysons.

My dysons taped up in about 4 places, dont use it anymore, just got a normal upright and keep the dyson for emergencies

The design of a Dyson is superb, the build quality for the price is a disgrace. I love ours, it light and easy to use, the hose is long, it lies down flat for doing under beds and tables, it just keeps dying.

Well if anyone is having probs with a dyson, pm me for a number of someone in ossy who fixes/reconditions them as a hobby.. got what is like a brand new dyson off him and it was a major bargain, plus he has loads of spare parts... in fact he was a star.. I was gonna go for the more expensive one of him but he persuaded me that the cheaper DC01 was the better bargain and saved me quite a few quid and diddled himself into the bargain :p

He also said any probs to take it straight back and he would sort it out, not had a moments problem with it
