Question Carpet Fitter

Can anybody recommend a good local carpet fitter that doesn't charge the earth? I have tried looking in the small ads but can't seem to find any carpet fitters, I would do it myself but the stairs to the loft conversion are a bit tricky!

Re: Carpet Fitter

I bought some lino for the bathroom recently and got someone in to fit it (couldnt get it to go around the loo and sink myself!).

He was local, dont know his name (he's in my phone as carpet man) and his number is 01254-234109.

I thought he was quite reasonable, and he was a very friendly fella. I would use him again.

You could ring him and he will give you a price on the phone.
