I hired one from Boots - I kept it on for half an hour and found it to be next to useless. Whether it was because i was too far gone or whether it was because i'm a big soft jess, it didn't seem to do anything for me.
I had the lot, gas and air, pethidine, epidural with Maddie then a section with Zack. One thing i do find ironic though, is that they're so obsessed with healthy eating through pregnancy - they tell you no coffee, pate, soft cheese etc - then pump you full of drugs for the last 24hrs. PS. my favourite was pethidone! |
