Cool glastonbury festival

saw the news tonight glastonbury was awash,poor sods tents were floating away,(glad i'm official owd fart)used to go to many festivals in the 60s and had some great times,my favorite was crystal palace garden parties, who else went to them?and what was your favorite festival?

Not been to many, so I'll go with Heineken Music Festival which used to be once a year in Avenham Park (Preston). Saw Oasis live at one of those 11 years back. Other bands I remember playing there around the same time would have been 'Red Moon Joe' and 'Gorgeous Swordfish'.

The Morecambe Light & Water festivals have always been good, lots of variety and all for free but there's talk of them being discontinued. Their council is almost as good as HBC.

I've never managed to get to Glastonbury, and judging by the conditions there this year I'm glad to have stayed home. Went to the first day of the Move Festival at Old Trafford last year. It was brilliant, in fact, it was me and Sparky's first date...
