Norton can come with your computer if your manufacturer puts it on, it is not apart of the Windows package though. If you buy windows separately rather than the manufacturer installing lots of rubbish on, it will not contain Norton.

People using a rip off copy of a companys software winge at the company when it breaks..........

Err its rare i support microsoft but in this case i can't help feeling that you reap what you sow.

I agree with you Ian. If you use illegal software you can't complain when the legal owner takes it back from you.

Anyway XP does not stop working. It just nags you about it being a dodgy copy and wont let you download updates for it. Sounds fair enough to me as well.

Anyone got any good reasons why Microsoft should support illegal copies of its software?
