Previously Microsoft have been quite cagey about when new OS are being launched, but I am sure I have heard it or read that it is being released in October

I have it on my laptop and I hate it.
I hardly use my laptop because Vista is so ungainly and user unfriendly.

I can't see me buying a new computer system for a long time...so there will probably be a nine and a ten out before then.:)

I was really worried when I bought it.......I really thought Windows 7 would be like Vista.......I almost cried when my old computer with XP on it died.
Anyway, I have found Windows 7 a dream after crappy Vista.
