Sad addiction to the internet...
A sad story...yesterday I had the telly on - Russian MTV it was, and the girlfriend came in and changed channels to some other russian rubbish and then 5 minutes later left the room again.....Next thing, I found myself searching for the BACK button on the remote!!!! Whats that all about??? It must have took me about 20 seconds to realise that remotes don't have back buttons, so I had to search manually for the channel I was on! Why don't tellys have a back button? With so many channels these days it would make more sense than the up-down channel buttons!!

Believe it or not when i bought my house about 6 years ago i had Cable and Wireless and the remote had a "back" button on it making it easy to watch 2 channels at once :-)

My TV remote has a previous channel button on it, same as a back button i suppose

I've just switched to Sky from NTL - and NTL did have a back button which was great. I'm missing the back button so much I'm thinking of writing to Sky!!!

I have used sky didgi since the first day and its always had a back button.. its the one on the doofer that says BACK
as for the original post....... I wrote a letter years and years ago... wrote it in word.. printed it out.. sent it by post... the person at the other end who has nevers een a computer.. theyw anted to know what all the : - ) where in the letter.... duh  |

Nope - I definitely do not have a BACK button on my Sky control - I have a BACKUP button but it doesn't work the same way. |

I have a back button on my Sky remote. It does exactly what it says, takes you back to where you last were. I've no idea what is supposed to be written on it as the wording is all worn away.

I have got a voice activated remote control, which helps when the words on the buttons have worn away. I tell the kids which channel I want to watch, and they somehow know which button to press.
It's either that, or it's time to buy the latest model.
