Re: Football Betting Mugs Game ?

Told you Shrewsbury to win. Dagenham's season was finished, so the outcome didn't really matter to them.
I had a small amount on a treble, which went down thanks to Crawley, but i won more on the Shrews.
Celtic or the draw on Sunday will increase my weekends profit.
If the Gers do it i'm in trouble...

I wouldn't have touched the Crawley v Hereford game as our Welsh friends had to get a result to avoid the potential trapdoor to the conference !!!! I wasn't really overly surprised with that outcome!!!

Just hope that Stanley can pee all over the Creepy's chips next Saturday and condemn the Creepies to the play offs.:D:D

Celtic are a good price 1/3 at Paddy Power to beat St Johnstone on Wednesday night.
Surely the Saints can't win twice at Parkhead in one season.
I'm not having £100 on em this time round.
Once bitten twice shy...

Re: Football Betting Mugs Game ?

Once again i have given you lot a WINNER. I've had a small amount on Celtic.
Look out tonight for my weekend banker...
You might say, "I could have told you Celtic would beat St Johnstone" well why did you not back 'em then? The price was crap, you'll say. Well a profit is a profit, it means you can put more money on your next bet..
My bundle of £10 notes is getting bigger, i will need a bigger elastic band to put round it soon, i'm not joking...
Arsenal look like they could be the one to back, they are at home to Norwich, but there are others with good prices, like QPR Evens at home to Stoke. these are Coral prices, Paddy Power could be better prices...:mosher:

Celtic played a lot of the youth team, could have gone belly up

could have, didn't.
I put a "controlled" amount on.
Another sensible amount on Arsenal tomorrow.
I have a system that has been tweaked to perfection in the last few months.
I cannot divulge my system, or should that be I don't want to divulge my system as it has taken a while to perfect.

I don't think backing ridiculously short priced favourites constitutes as a "system"

I don't profess to have a system....If anything I look at the games and look for a nice "value" price which, if I predict the outcome correctly gives a nice return !! Take my last two bets for example.....

I had £10 on the Hammers last night at 7/5 netting a £24 return & £14 profit so I shoved the £14 profit on Blackpool tonight at 11/8 & returned £33.25 with a further £19.25 profit!!!!! Mmmmmmnn nice!!! :D

So tomorrow....I'll probably bank some of my winnings & I'll scale the stakes back down to a reasonable amount and look for some more "value". It certainly won't be going on at any very short priced odds on games!!!:D

Will post my selections later after having a bit of a study!!!:D

The only system that ever works where gambling is concerned is keep your money in your pocket that's a certain winner every time, systems that are devised to beat the bookie or the house are usually just a little:rolleyes:

Well...after much studying & deliberation....today I'm going for :

Shrewsbury to win at AFC Wimbledon @ 11/10.

Tranmere to record a home win over Scunthorpe @ 21/20

Torquay to win at Hereford @ 5/4.

I'll probably do a £2.50 patent covering singles, doubles and trebles.....total stake £17.50..Here's hoping !!:o

Re: Football Betting Mugs Game ?

Well my initial "selections" didn't go as planned, however thanks to "Camelot" (15/8) winning the big race at Newmarket & Chelsea (13/8 ) somehow managing to cling on to the F.A. Cup, I've still come out with a nice profit !! :D

And yes......... they were bets I decided to place after posting earlier !!!:o
