Ok ... well, maybe Pepe.

Today, I'm cheering for Greece:alright: I'm hoping they really put it to the Wehrmacht ... (but I ain't holding my breath on this one.)

Got to agree with the consensus, I'd like the Greeks to do the Germans although it seems a tall order, it'd certainly shut a few gobby locals up. Here's hoping, "Give it the Gyros Lads !". :D

How the hell is it only 1-0 at half time, the most one sided game I've seen so far, wonder if the Greeks will turn up and make a game of it in the second half

Re: Euro 2012

Ah well, a Greek tragedy was avoided, 4 -2 against the Hermans, not bad going when you consider their first half performance for at least 5 minutes they were living the dream at least.

Are we looking at an England - Germany semi ? How very tantalising. :)

You've more faith in England than me cashy, the Krauts are by far the best team in the comp so far, we will have to pull our socks up big time, but we've to do the Eyeties first

I'm deeply shocked & offended by that statement !!!!! You Sir, are obviously no scholar of languages or the intricacies of regional accents, where this the case you would know the plaintive cry would be espoused thus :-

"Wer's me
JYRO Lad ?" (the G being pronounced as a J, elongated by the use of the letter Y as opposed to the more correct I & Lad can be replaced with Girl dependent on whoever is serving at the time) You Southerners, there's just no educating yis ! :D

I agree with you Jaysay - my Mother is German so I have a genetic disposition in favour of the Germans - but last night at the start I hoped the Greeks would do something until they started playing dirty! Glad the Germans hammered them.:alright:
