It could be a shrewd move signing Rooney up on a five year contract, come January it means they'll get more for him.

I reckon that Torres with good support could be real class again - but he must know that he won't get that at Liverpool.
Word is that there will not be any big buys for Liverpool next year.

I don't know what "the word is".. but I do know that the only northern team still in the Champions League is Manchester United.. and I like the new chant...." chanel five.. thursday nights.. Liverpool.

No.. but I suppopse we will have to live the fact of being unbeaten in 21 games.. hey it's not so bad.. well it's better than being in the drop zone come sunday.

I disagree cashy whats the point of having a league when the top clubs run away with it every years, certainly don't want to end up like Jock land were they toss up prior to the season who's going to win it Celtic or Rangers
