first 'pop' song I remember , 'I love to a wandering...along a mountain side' (think it was probably an English remake of a Hitler youth song ) probably from childrens favourites radio program with 'uncle' Mac Saturday mornings ,

Its a scout song. I've just googled it, I remember it well coz it was very popular and I think its the 'vol da reee vol da raaaa' bit that makes us all think its something to do with austria or germany.

'I Feel Fine' - The Beatles, 7th January 1965.

I doubt my mother felt fine, as I was actually due on the 4th of December!

She was in labour for twenty four hours, and I entered the world at 10lb 2oz.

Still, I was worth the wait.:D
