yes the same fortress the Accy fans were sneaking out of early on 27 September !!
The one with a roof at each end and toilets with lightbulbs that work!!

I seem to remember no Accy fans sneaking out early - not when Morcambe were constantly kicking for touch for the last 10 minutes while our depleted squad put them under the cosh.

We watched your home end empty & sang you out of the ground despite losing! As we have done this season as Burton, Cambridge, Scarboro, Grays, Alty, there was only us the press & the stewards in the "fortress"

I know you don't actually believe what you are saying & 150 from York, yeah whatever!

Whilst it WILL be nice to go up as Champions, it's far more important that BOTH clubs go up this season.

dont forget Accy v Southport is really a localish derby. 1,600 is very poor for an "ex-league team" at the top of the league.

And york coming to Accy is much nearer for their fans than coming to the fortress. I think that when Southport come for their punishment on New Years bank holiday there will be around 3,000.

And 150 York fans would be about right yesterday. Like you they do like big flags to hide the empty spaces !!

Take a peek at page 14 of the NLP Morecambe Red, see what Gary Boswell in the Skybet column thinks of your promotion chances this season. Quote " Morecambe's inability to bury lesser teams makes them a play off candidate at best". Then read the next column where he reckons we are the best bet to be champions, Nuff said!!

Any team who had 4 home games on the spin against the likes of Forest Green , Southport , Altrincham and whoever your next one is would find themselves close to the top.

What he means by your inability to bury lesser teams is the fact that you have been beaten by Kidderminster 1-0, Forest Green 1-0 and Alty 2-0.

What he meant was we beat the "great" teams like Accrington 3-2 (which should have been about 5-0 as both Accy goals scored by ref!!) and Stevenage 4-1
We still have Forest Green , Southport and Altrincham at home so the 9 points will swing back.
