Does this mean that we haven't got a 'League Manager'

Upgrading the manager and staff is a good idea if it is indeed an upgrade. The problem is, Eric would probably see it as another opportunity to save a few bob and replace JC with a trained monkey or something.

I wonder how the applications are going for a Commercial Manager? ;)

From today's/tomorrow's Observer

Accrington Stanley chairman Eric Whalley has backed under pressure boss John Coleman - but admits that results must start to improve.

Re: Coleman & Bell

he also states that the next six games are the biggest of the manager's career and that they will sit down after the Chester game on the 5th January and review where they are at

Isn't it about time this nonsense was stopped?

Re: Coleman & Bell

Bit pathetic though that the players have been banned from talking to the Observer just because they had the audacity to run a poll asking people's opinions on whether they thought Coley was still up to the job! What's the betting that if the poll had come up with 100% of the fans being behind him all the way the ban wouldn't have happened, he's always said he can take criticism but obviously he can't - and it wasn't even criticism, just a poll asking for opinions - very childish reaction to it in my opinion
