I can think of a lot of things I could spend my free time doing instead of wasting it, like I feel that I have this afternoon. I'll never get back those 2 hours of my life and I feel robbed!!

It's not the losing. I've been going long enough to not let losing bother me. It's more the total lack of ideas and tactics that are really getting me down. We had one real shot all afternoon and this isn't the first game where we have never looked like creating anything.

I feel really angry, but just can't be bothered anymore. We can't live on past glories anymore, despite how many people on here seem to think that we can.

I cleaned my motor bike instead.

An old timer said to me before the game today to get my money on stanley to go down and that we wont win again this season. I didnt know if he was being sarcastic through frustration at the time. At 5pm I agreed he could possibly be right.

We'll definitely be bottom 4 by the end of the month. If we're not, it won't be down to our own merits.

You know the same thought crossed my mind after this latest debacle.

With the defence the way its been and only one striker proven at this level, our home form all season and now our away form I'm not sure where the next win is going to come from.

Our salvation last season was Fortress FES. This season its been more like a sand castle.

Re: vs Wycombe

today was down to poor tactics.

We are predictable. We rarely change our tactics, defend to high up the pitch and accomadate craney at the teams expense.

I dont no where to start so I wont, but Aswad is definatly no Godwin.

One point from eighteen is relegation form and it will not be long at this rate before we are in that position.
The first shot we had on goal this afternoon came at 4-35pm.
There is no leadership in the team and nobody on the field wants to take responsibility.
We can't even string three passes together and I am wondering where the next goals are coming from.
Wycombe's no.22 controlled the game with ease and yet no-one had the wit or vision to mark him.
Come on Stanley, we are getting worse with each passing week, no wonder the crowds are dwindling.

No, he's not, but he's practically the only one who had a half-decent shot on goal all afternoon, which is a damning indictment on our attack. Totally depressed by what I've seen this afternoon...a large part of the team don't really seem to care, and as for Branch, he should be given his marching orders now!

He didn't seem to have one. It was his trusty sidekick on Radio Lancs. today.

Particularly in the second half, when Jay was moved to the wing, Stanley seemed to give him a 10 yard exclusion zone. It was truly woeful, think their manager took him off to avoid further embarassment to us. :(

It was a bad match indeed, the players seem to have no motivation, heart in the games or in stanley any more - think there is a lot of discontentment on & off the pitch judging by the play on field & seeing them off field, morale is non existant!! I left before turner & grant came on, as i couldnt take anymore.

After all that work this morning that we did - as a team effort to clear the pitch so it could be played, it was particularly soul destroying to see non of that desire/effort/teamwork with our side today:(

Re: vs Wycombe

Firstly the positives:
Aswad left a good impression not fancy just did the simple things but effectively
Bobby Grant getting a run out
Chris Turner getting his debut:)

Negatives
I can't remember being more frustrated watching Stanley than I was this afternoon:confused:
