What amused me about this is the fact that jurors had to declare if they were Everton fans because Steven (the diver) Gerard was afraid they'd find him guilty. Of course a jury of Liverpool fans would be completely unbiased.

Sometimes there's no point carrying on a discussion because if someones minds set that's it.

Gerrard was found not guilty on the evidence provided not on a technicality, he was tried by a jury of 12 who found him not guilty, the judge agreed, end off.

According to the BBC, all six others, including Bobby and Bavs, have received suspended sentences and 150 hours unpaid work.
