Think that this is fantasic pricing policy :) I signed up tonight on the spot, I was really pleased when I went into see Lee and find out what was what :D Well done Stanley, great deal, offered early plus some nice little added extras ;) 10 on 10 to all in question, and lets hope that we can now look forward to more than 5 home matches with a home gate that starts with a 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

:):):)

P.S. pity about the match tonight :( could have done with three points.

Personally hope they do not change! The cheaper they make it to pay on the gate means the less value to the GREAT value season ticket, plus I would have thought that we would also lose out on income from away supporters???

disagree Valairian, reckon if people can watch premiership fer the same price virtually its no contest to em.:)

I hear your point Cashman, was looking at it from two angles :-
1) Hope to get quite a few more season tickets sold, so less pay on the gate,
2) Get as much as possible on the gate from away fans like Rochdale £20.00.

But I do see your point of local clubs in higher leagues ;)

at £10 a game for walk ons, ST holders would still be getting a 40% (ish) discount PLUS the add-ons. It would be silly not to get signed up so bang the drum where you can.

If there's any posters getting done I'll have a couple in my shop please

my view is, the club are attempting to get a bigger fanbase, they will sell more season tickets thats a cert, but they need to attract more casuals, by reducing the gate fee (if they do?) its a damn good chance of doing so, thus more revenue, i think its a bold n great move by the club, if ya increase the away fee, that penalises good supporters, very few travel to places like chelsea cos of the high prices fer away fans.:)

Isnt there a minimum stanley can charge on the gate... i dont think pay on the day prices will go down too much

I think that minimum charges were something that 'we' invented when we put prices up 50% in the Conf!!!!!!!! Probably not but .....

I seriously don't think that it is permissable by law because it would contradict fair trade laws

There used to be a minimum charge for Football League but I think it was abolished a few years ago. There is a minmum charge on FA Cup games from the 3rd round of £15 for an adult.

Interesting that they haven't announced pay on the day prices because thats usually the main selling point of a season ticket, how much you save against pay per game.

Even in our league, many including myself won't go to the Rochdale derby at Spotland because of their ludicrous & unfair prices

...and they always give us a tubbing

...but mainly because of the prices. ;)

Think you'll find Sam that the vouchers are with the concession price of 110 quid not the 50 quid students & under 16's tickets - still damn good value though for all the season tickets, really hope this works and we get more through the gates next season.

A bold and innovative move by the club. I'll certainly be handing my dosh over next week. I really hope that it pays off!

You jammy buggers! What a deal and what a brave and acute move by the club. I might get one coz the money I will save will pay for a flight to every game!!! Not quite but my point is, thats a bloody great deal! I hope the public respond in the way the club hopes it does.
