I honestly think that having a friendly with Steven Gerrard present in the audience or at least lending his support to it would give Stanley a push towards raising more money. I remember that Gazza did a similar thing for Darlington and over 3000 people turned up so if a similar crowd turned up at the Crown it could raise circa £15k to £20k.
