Re: Ilyas pulls out

Let’s just step back and get a firm grip on this; I don’t know anything of what’s going on either within the club or with the ASSF and Mr. Khan. But let’s not get too depressed at this time and certainly let’s not get defeatist….in 62 people couldn’t put up the kind of emotional or physical support that we can today. Rather than talk this situation down; turn the focus back on those responsible…make your protests to the club in the strongest legal terms, write or email the club asking for clarification of the situation and demand reassurances as to our future; protest in a none violent but determined manner along every stand at the crown, don’t offend or tempt the stewards into defensive action work within the law and the grounds bylaws but make Mr. O’Neil and anyone else aware that they are alone if they fail to deliver this club from the brink of a situation of there making. Above all sing and support those lads on the pitch any other time use the media to get the message firmly in the Boards head, they can’t do this alone.

Fight this time, don’t sit back, fight and fight hard but within the law at all times…..

 Sorry but why is everyone saying thank you Ilyas ???

Fair enough he might not be seen to be getting his own way with O'Neill but is that really enough reason to just say I've had enough ?

All this Khan/O'Neill business has been a distraction whilst the club tried to raise the funds I myself have been caught up in it all and just couldn't say who is to blame. Is it O'Neill being stubborn or Khan wanting his share issue ?

Khan said he would match the Directors money then I think he said he would put double what O'Neill would, then to turn round at the 11th hour and say I'm do longer doing any of that stinks to me. Just my opinion people, but I hope someone out there knows how their going to save the club now, please.

I would suggest we continue with as much gusto as possible to raise as much as we can....

This is our town team & I will support it in any League. I am Accrington, born & bred & I will continue to support my team through the good times & the bad.

Whether fans continue to support the suits in charge;that is up to individuals.

At the moment, Stanley Ultras will not! But we will decide our position when the full story unfolds.

Today, is a shameful day thats for sure................

Feel the same way Bernie......but not looking very promising.....I feel sorry for the fans who have stuck by Stanley thro thick and thin.....of course the general public will only get to know what the bigwigs allow us to know.........it's such a shame :(

Shurm, I do not think that you know the full facts, as many on here do not,( I am not saying I do) but power struggles? I think not...

Has anyone got 200k? If so wap it down on the table, but i know i haven't and neither has the towns people and as caring as im suprised to see that on a daily basis its still way short of the mark needed with all the best interest in the world. As emotive as my opinion is 19 days or so to d day i am as a stanley fan seriously worried. I hope the club can pull something out of the hat and will await as the rest of us till such happens. My concern is this will seriously effect the sos fund raising with all this negative game play off field, im praying for a miracle.

It could actually be a momentous day. The current board will now have to produce the goods or the backlash will force a complete u-turn. I really don't see what benefit the current board could get by allowing the club to be wound up.

Ok I understand, I'll bite my tongue for 24 hours then if thats possible, its all b*****ks this why couldn't people just do the best for the club on both sides from the beginning its just so frustrating :swear8::swear8::swear8:

I reckon O'Niell will put the club into admin, take the 10-15 point deduction and use the money rasied to bolster his new club-I assume he can be a director of it should ASFC go into admin? Did I not read that he wasn't 'registered' (or similar) as a director/chairman of ASFC at the moment?.

A line from Peter Marsden :- If required I would be happy to act as a mediator - not as a director but as an independent shareholder - but you can only help people if they want to be helped.

Think its about time we did get to know the true facts so least we know what we are dealing with and can attempt to come up with solutions, as it is with the un certainty its not doing saving asfc any favours.

If I am not mistaken, we have gone past admin KJ.... I do not believe it to be an option.

I am seriously thinking of testing this one.
